Kind little gestures...

Like I have mentioned before, this blog has been around for like 5 to 6 years already, since 2003 or 2004 if I remembered it clearly. I have decided and have already deleted away the old + bad memories from this blog and I am still wondering if I should make this blog public again although I do have a LiveJournal blog (for very close friends only) and a PIXNET blog (Chinese).

To restart this blog officially, I shall share about something which really touched my heart because not all teachers will go the extra mile as such.

I have a friend who is a teacher and one fine day, I saw his photo album in FaceBook where he was at this Rider's Cafe at Bukit Timah with his student. Looking at the description of the album, though I saw his words where he said he has always wanted to go to this cafe which seems to be in a sub-urban area, he also said that he drove his student (a teenage boy who is about to take is A-Levels) there to relax because the student is very stressed up. Upon seeing this, it warmed my heart because I have heard from some of my friends with children, saying that teachers nowadays teach for the sake of money and for the sake of the iron rice bowl, and they lack in patience towards the students. This little gesture from this friend of mine, made me realize that not all young teachers are like what some of my friends had mentioned to be.

Now that we have so many ways of communication through technology, sad to say, a lot of us has become "cold", and seem to have no expressions or emotions. This is also to say that if everyone of us around the globe puts in more kind gestures and understanding towards each other, lesser hurting words and actions, our lives would really change for the better.

Glad.

Even though relationships aren’t important to me now, I am glad I still have friends by my side. I am even more glad that there are good music keeping me accompany. Thanks to my new + special friends for the good music and for being born with such comforting voices. You guys have made it possible for me to keep my balance while I listen to songs that can be quite depressing at times. It is the fruits of your labour from putting the hardwork into your passion for music that kept me going on. It has prevented me from throwing in the towel many times. Thanks once again to you guys for the wonderful music.
